As a Republican progressive, conservative, centrist, populist promoting trans-partisan thinking, it is my goal to state a "position" on the issues without "taking sides." I use these guidelines:
- Identify the problem.
- Look at the historical perspective.
- Consider the "popular" perspective.
- Check "rule-of-law" and Constitutionality.
- Research relevant available information.
