I began to study happiness as a pursuit.

I learned that what helps people be happy and our current political climate are opposing forces.
It became clear that American politics is contrary to the American Dream.

That's when I started shifting my political ideals to focus on Pursuit of Happiness.
I grew to understand that policy issues will resolve themselves if people are happy and given the opportunity to participate in building this great country we call home.

Happiness is found in friendships, family, harmony, nature, security, and health. We see the good in and accept the differences in those we love. We have the saying, "two heads are better than one," because we understand the advantage of diversity of ideas. We value working together.

We understand that "butting heads" is unproductive in solving problems and only useful for establishing dominance between goats and asses.

We have a nation to build. We must make an effort to forge friendships and unite families. Know that you are not my enemy. And believe that I am not your enemy. Like you, I want my home country to be the best place in the world to live. I want everyone around the world to look at my country and think, America is a wonderful place to live.

We can create the American dream if we see each other as friends and family and work together to build on our heritage. We need only live by our national code which is to work together to provide justice, harmony, security, prosperity, and liberty for everyone.

Happiness comes from helping others, being loved, and having purpose. If our primary purpose is to help others be happy, the circle is complete.

You can only change your country if you change yourself. We can build the American Dream only if we want it for others and work side-by-side to make it come true.
